Rising Stars: Overall achievement award, given to in-house counsels with 10 years or less of corporate/firm legal experience.
Top Intellectual Property Counsel: Overall achievement award, given to the top in-house intellectual property counsels.
Top Corporate Counsel: Overall achievement award, given to the top in-house transactional attorneys who have handled the most noteworthy corporate transactions.
Top Litigation Counsel: Overall achievement award, given to the top in-house litigation counsels who have handled the most noteworthy trials.

Awards Rules

  1. Any attorney may submit a First Chair Award nomination.
  2. In-house counsel may nominate themselves.
  3. Nominees must, at the time of the nomination, be serving in the capacity of in-house counsel.
  4. After the nomination is received, the nominee will have the opportunity to accept the nomination and submit additional information that will be provided to the Nomination Committee.
  5. Previous nominees may be nominated in any category.
  6. Finalists will be asked to update their applications with additional information.
